To think it has been over a month since I have posted anything. Wow. I always remember hearing about how time flies by, but I have never been able to fully grasp the phrase until these past couple months. Its absolutely crazy how life can grab you by the hand and take off running, before you even realize that it has. Thats life though, gone in the blink of an eye. Here one day, gone the next. Thats why it is so precious. If we aren't careful we, as humans, have a tendency to live for tomorrow... always thinking about what is coming next week or next month. I, personally, find myself in this position on a regular basis. I always want today to be over so tomorrow will come, or I dread the days to come.
In Matthew 6:34 is says...
"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes."
My realization of beauty over the past couple of weeks is to enjoy the moment you are in at this very second. It is one from God... there will never be another. Time will continue to fly, but if you take the advantage of the moment you are in, the memories will be a lot sweeter.
